Illinois is mopping the floor in 2026 recruiting. The Illini picked up another commitment Monday night, with three-star tight end Will Vala out of Downers Grove North.
According to 247, Vala is 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds and has offers from many other Power Four programs, including Wisconsin, Purdue and Kentucky. Illinois’ 2026 class still remains among the top-20 nationally, which is definitely hard to believe. And Vala appears to be another good fit, being an in-state guy who can catch the ball, and we know how BB feels about his big guys.
